Gifts for £10 or less
Giving gifts doesn't have to cost a fortune. Here at Good Craic Gifts in Rostrevor we pride ourselves on stocking a great range of gifts to suit all budgets. Read on for a variety of our gifts that cost just £10 or less.
We have loads of mugs in stock at a range of prices. These Aran knit mugs are only £7.50 and the Northern Irish banter mug is £8. Our mugs in store range from £3.99 - £35 so there is something for everyone.
We stock stock a range of NearyNogs locally produced bean to bar chocolate products including slates (pictured) at £8 or bars for £7.95. [We also stock their hot chocolate but that is £12.75 which is over £10 and therefore obviously has no place in this blog].
I've got a good range of these wee pocket books available for just £7.50 each. There are loads of different recipe books, Irish legends and stories, Irish poetry, and Prayers and blessings. I've stocked these for ages and they are always very popular.
If you'd like a more local book I have these ghost stories written by Mark Gibbons (pen name: Frank O'Neil). Clough Mor Lore is £6 and contains apparently lighter stories wheras the second edition is £10 and gets a bit darker. Mark is now offering Ghost Tour walks/evenings around Rostrevor and Warrenpoint.
We've just restocked our books so there are plenty on offer. Just one more to highlight is this wee one by by Gearóid Ó Lochlainn. Tóg Go Bog É Ag Foghlaim encourages people to learn the beautiful Irish language. It includes many introductory phrases and words in Irish for learners. £10 in Good Craic.
Perhaps a set of 6 Guinness coasters for £10. A handmade leather pouch with a variety of colours to choose from £7. A journal with the Tree of Life on the front only £9.70.
I've got some lovely soaps in stock right now. Wild About Soap made up the road near Downpatrick £6.50. The Black Stuff, also Irish made and marketed more towards men £8. Enniskinn (not pictured but beautifully presented) £7. For a bit of fun I've also got these shower steamers for £4 each. You sit one on the floor of your shower for nice smelling steam. Like a bathbomb but for showers.
For more cosy we recently got these cute knitted hats/beanies that are just £10 each. There is also a range of locally handknitted hats, scarves and handwarmers upstairs although most cost a little over £10.
There is loads more I could mention. Good Craic really does stock gifts for all budgets! But let me finish with our wonderful 2027 Mourne Calendar. I made this just for you! Photos were donated by a range of local amateur and pro photographers. It really celebrates the natural beauty of the Mournes and is perfect for posting or gifting this Christmas. [I also made a Warrenpoint 2027 Calendar in partnership with Mac Creative Photography but that one costs £11 so obviously I won't tell you about it in this blog post :)]
Good Craic Gifts, Rostrevor, is open 7 days a week from now until Christmas so whatever your budget pop in and see how we can help you get just the right gifts for the people you love.
