A BIT ABOUT US
Good Craic was established in 2015 with three main goals:
to provide good quality souvenirs to the many tourists who visit Rostrevor;
provide an excellent range of gifts and cards for locals; and
to provide income to locals by selling locally made gifts.
As a blow in from Australia I have a real appreciation for all things Irish. I love the culture of music and celebration. I've been blessed by the welcome I've received from the people of Rostrevor and Good Craic is one way I can give a little back to the community. People come back to Good Craic because they know they’ll be welcome to browse without being hassled, they will find a listening ear if they need one and when it's not busy perhaps a cup of tea. Stop by and see for yourself!
Nestled into the base of the Mourne Mountains is a picturesque village called Rostrevor. The village resounds with live music most nights of the week and offers countless opportunities to enjoy spectacular scenery. There are world class mountain biking tracks, award winning restaurants and some of the friendliest people you will meet anywhere.
Good Craic Gifts is a celebration of Rostrevor and of Ireland. We stock work from more than 70 different Irish artists many of them locals. Good Craic has a wide range of CDs available from local musicians. We also stock regular Irish souvenirs, postcard and magnets and quirky gifts. It is definitely worth your time to pop in for a browse if you are in the area. Now for the first time you can also shop virtually!! If you see something you like for sale online, on Facebook or Instagram message me for a price including postage
I would also love to help you get the most out of your visit to Rostrevor. You can pick up a range of tourist information brochures from the shop or I'd be happy to offer suggestions of things to do and where the music is on any given night.
