Lasair’s signature candles are crafted using a careful blend of the finest natural fragrances, their special natural wax blend and linen wicks. All are hand poured in small batches in their factory, located in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains, Ireland. Each candle is hand packaged with care to make sure they reach you in perfect condition, while taking care of our enchanting environment, too.
Each candle has a burn time of approximately 30 hours.
Here are descriptions of some of the scents that may be available:
Buttercup Meadow- Evoke the sensation of summer walks, through meadows filled with buttercups. This unique fragrance contains notes of watermelon, strawberry, Jasmine, Buttercup and Patchouli.
Irish Whiskey- At the heart of Ireland, this "water of life" with it's smooth and mellow warming flavour is representative of the true taste of Ireland. Our fragrance uses notes of Caramel, Clove, Vanilla Pod and Whiskey to duplicate the scent of real Irish Whiskey.
Irish Linen- Since early times Linen and Ireland have been woven tightly together, and this fragrance continues the tradition with notes of Cotton, Jasmine, Muguet, Patchouli and Clove.
Irish Tweed- Reminiscent of the bygone days of Donegal Tweed, this signature scent is a classic Fougere fragrance, with rich, fresh and unforgettable notes of Bergamot, Lemongrass, Tweed, Sandal and Amber.
Irish Orchard- Apple orchards feature prominently in almost all ancient Irish manuscripts from the earliest times. This fragrance is so refreshing that you will feel like you are walking through those orchards, picking the juicy apples yourself
Cinnamon- Add a touch of warmth and spice to your home with our hot cinnamon fragrance. The ultimate cinnamon fragrance, combining cinnamon bark, allspice and subtle base notes of vanilla.
Irish Fire- There is nothing like the smell of a peat fire in Ireland, to conjure that comforting, "Ahh, Ireland" emotion. Notes of Amber, Tobacco, Peat, Moss and Birch Tar bring this mystical scent to life.
Orange and Clove- Chase away the winter blues with this warm, fragrance, bringing the wonderful aroma of fresh orange slices, with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove into your home.
Rhubarb and Plum- A vibrant fruity accord of fresh rhubarb with undertones of juicy plum supported give way to ripe pear and sweet peach resting on a vanilla and sugar base to provide you with one of our strongest scented candles that is sure to blow you away!
Saffron Meadow- This ancient, rare and expensive fragrance, originating from Mediterranean fields, will fill your room with a zesty citrus and floral fragrance. With notes of Citrus, Saffron, Geranium, Patchouli and Cedar.
